Pierce Brosnan to become Dr. Fate in Black Adam’s movie

It’s been a busy week for the Black Adam movie starring Dwayne Johnson. The actor this week shared the first page of the film’s script and showed his enthusiasm to start shooting in a few weeks, and there was still a surprise to be revealed. The success of Shazam! and The Rock’s perseverance has finally made a project that had been entrenched since 2014 begin to advance.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Black Adam film will feature an illustrious person to give life to Kent Nelson, better known as Dr. Fate (Doctor Fate in some translations): none other than the veteran ex-007 Pierce Brosnan.

Brosnan will make his superhero film debut with Black Adam, bringing to life one of DC’s oldest characters who has been appearing on the pages of comics since 1940, when he appeared in More Fun Comics # 55.

It is about one of the mystical characters of DC who receives his power from an ancient being named Nabu , who is the one who guides Kent Nelson in his adventures. As one of the founding members of the Justice Society of America, Dr. Fate could not miss the appointment of Black Adam, who already has the entire cast of the group. Noah Centineo will be the Atom Smasher in the film, which will also star  Aldis Hodge as Hawkman and Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone.

What do you think about the signing of Pierce Brosnam as Dr. Fate in the Black Adam movie ?
