BEST Smartphones of 2021? The AnTuTu benchmark is the ultimate benchmark for the performance of Android smartphones. Its creators publish a monthly rating of devices with the highest scores in the test. Recently, they rolled out a selection of the most powerful flagships and models of the middle price segment, which can already be bought on the international market.
The results turned out to be interesting – the list is very different from the similar AnTuTu top for China.
The most powerful flagship for the first time was the device from Realme – this is the GT model with a score of 822 869 points. Like the rest of the devices in the top ten, it is based on the Snapdragon 888 processor. But unlike them, Realme GT is positioned as a “budget flagship” without unnecessary bells and whistles, so the device costs almost half the price of competitors.
The iQOO7 with 821 416 points in the asset is breathing in Realme‘s back – this is a smartphone from the subsidiary brand Vivo, which, together with Realme, belongs to the BBK corporation. Well, the third place of the podium went to the gaming flagship Asus ROG Phone 5, it earned 197 “parrots” in AnTuTu 819.
BEST Smartphones of 2021 – May 2021
In the middle price segment, the most powerful smartphone was Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite on the latest Snapdragon 780G chip, it managed to score 525 606 points. In second place Huawei Nova 7, and closed the top three with a small margin Honor 30. Both smartphones are equipped with a Kirin 985 processor.
BEST Smartphones of 2021 – Mid-range
Interestingly, a new Samsung smartphone – Galaxy A52 5G – is in the top five. The Koreans used to sacrifice the performance of their mid-range gadgets for the sake of other specs, but this year they decided to change the policy by equipping the model with a powerful Snapdragon 750G.
