Razer today unveiled another controller for the Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One and PC. The Razer Wolverine V2 Chroma offers several improvements over the previous model – check out the trailer for details of the new offering.
I informed our community about the Razer Wolverine V2 last year as the device was announced near the launch of the new Xbox, and at the end of November I had the opportunity to present my gameplay experience on the controller . However, we could be sure that it was not the end and the manufacturer would propose the next version of the equipment at the right moment.
The Razer Wolverine V2 Chroma has been unveiled today and the device uses the modern technology of “hyperactive” switches that appear in the manufacturer’s mice. The Razer Mecha-Tactile Action Buttons and D-Pad are designed to provide “state-of-the-art precision”.
The new version of the controller received four additional buttons on the rear panel and Razer decided to fully cooperate with the Razer Chroma RGB. The device still uses the cable, but this time we can disconnect it (USB-C).
In the Razer Wolverine V2 Chroma we also find interchangeable analogs (convex and concave) and the d-pad has been replaced, which now, like the official controllers for the Xbox Series X | S, is round.
The Razer Wolverine V2 Chroma was priced at $ 149.99.
