We do not have the best information for players who were waiting for the October premiere of Battlefield 2042. DICE actually postponed the game’s debut date, but fortunately – the title will debut in 2021. Get to know the details.
Until a few hours ago, it was purely a rumor, but now we can confirm: Battlefield 2042 will not debut in October. From the very morning there were leaks that suggested that EA and DICE could move the game even to the beginning of 2022, but fortunately there were voices that the developers only needed a few weeks to refine the game.
According to the latest information: Battlefield 2042 will debut on November 19, 2021. The studio confirms that creating a next-generation Battlefield during a pandemic is quite a challenge, and the developers want to be sure that they will throw a position on the market that will meet their expectations and offer players an appropriate vision of the game. Later this month, we are expected to receive Open Beta details.
It should be noted that in this situation, three large AAA shooters from Activision, Electronic Arts and Microsoft will debut over the course of 4.5 weeks. It’s been a long time since we had such a hot end of the year for fans of this genre:
- 11/11 – Call of Duty: Vanguard
- 11/19 – Battlefield 2042
- 12/08 – Halo Infinite
