Battlefield 2042: server problems after Update 3, DICE working on a solution

The developers of DICE are working to solve the problems with the servers born with the publication of the substantial Update 3 published a few hours ago.

A few hours ago Battlefield 2042 received Update 3 which aimed to solve numerous problems that plagued the shooter. However, the update apparently created compatibility issues with game servers , which the developers of DICE are currently investigating.

The latest major update of Battlefield 2042 introduced 150 fixes and changes . In short, this is an important update that aimed to solve the problems reported since the launch and on which a “patch” had to be necessarily put, given that the number of active players is falling rapidly .

However, it would seem that not everything went well. In fact, numerous players report that they cannot reach the game servers , right after installing the new patch.

As reported by the official Battlefield 2042 twitter profile, the developers of DICE are aware of the problems, explaining that it is a server-side problem and that they are already working on a solution. Consequently, theoretically, the fix should not require the download of an additional patch. In the meantime, DICE recommends trying several times to log in from the main menu.
