Electronic Arts and DICE have unveiled several new details on Battlefield 2042’s Portal mode , which promises to be a much more creative and unique experience than those typically offered by the war series in the past.
Another interesting element related to Portal emerges : in an attempt to make the gameplay of the promising online mode as balanced as possible, the game will allow you to manually disable all the Specialists present in Battlefield 2042 . Players will be left with total freedom to decide which ones to include and which ones to remove, being able to opt for individual Specialists or remove them all in its entirety and thus give life to ever-varied dynamics within the online games in Portal.
Users will also be able to mix Specialists with Classes taken from older episodes of the series, taken from Battlefield 1942 , Battlefield Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 3 ; from these three chapters several classic maps are also taken, and the wide range of customizations available for users promise to give life to unpredictable dynamics within Portal, complete with equipment, arsenal and design of the scenarios taken from the past balanced in to match the gameplay of Battlefield 2042.
Finally, we remind you that Battlefield 2042 will be in free trial for 10 hours on EA Play and Game Pass on November 12, 2021, so as to offer fans a further, full-bodied taste of the game’s contents in view of the debut of the full version scheduled for the following 19th November.
