PlatinumGames could use some elements from the deleted Scalebound to improve and extend Bayonetta 3. There are already suggestions for the presented mechanics, which was originally supposed to be used in a game developed for Microsoft.
The first trailer for the third Bayonetta has sparked expectations, but we can be sure that we will hear about the game a lot in the coming months. The title will undoubtedly be one of the most important premieres for Nintendo in 2022, and the published material sparked a very interesting discussion.
PlatinumGames has confirmed that Yusuke Miyata is the director of the newest adventure, and previously he was the lead designer of Scalebound. The creator is said to be very talented, which can positively affect the position aimed exclusively at the Nintendo Switch.
Interestingly, however, JP Kellams, a former employee of a Japanese studio who apparently had the opportunity to develop the game on behalf of Microsoft, spoke about the production – in his opinion, PlatinumGames could use the mechanics of controlling summons from Scalebound and throw it into the third Bayonetta.
It is no wonder that the developers draw a handful of their work, which in addition was not thrown on the market, but as you know Scalebound excited many players at the time. Unfortunately, the title did not hit the market.
