For years, the PC community has been crying out for a port of Bloodborne and it’s hard to blame them. The FromSofware exclusive for PlayStation 5 is an excellent title that we die to see on more platforms and especially at 60 fps. Will one day arrive on PC officially? Who knows, but while Sony makes up its mind, a group of fans got to work on a mod for Dark Souls III that brings one of the best elements of the game to PC.
Modders from the Dark Souls community have been working on Call of the Abyss for a long time . This is an Alpha stage mod that adds weapons and enemies from Bloodborne to Dark Souls III. The modification can be described as a kind of expansion that confronts us with the Lovecraftian nightmare in a new story.
Now, it is important to note that this mod is not trying to bring Bloodborne to PC. Rather, it intends to take some of its best elements to Dark Souls III to combine them with novelties from other games and create a mix that delivers a new adventure. To give you an idea, in addition to Bloodborne content, you will also find weapons and objects from games such as Monster Hunter World , Dark Souls and Dark Souls II .
It is important to note that Call of the Abyss is only in an Alpha stage of development. This means that you will be able to find various bugs and other kinds of errors that interfere with your experience.
So if you dare, you can download Call of the Abyss for free from NexusMods -which weighs almost 15 GB- and confirm if it transforms the experience you lived when playing Dark Souls 3 pro for the first time, into something new.
What did you think of Call of the Abyss ? You wanted a mod like that for Dark Souls III ? Tell us in the comments.
Dark Souls III is available for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
