Bloodstained: Ritual Of The Night Sequel Officially Confirmed

Although initially it had some performance issues, overall Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night managed to live up to expectations after landing the second most successful funding campaign on Kickstarter. Well, it is normal to think that with this project an important and prolific IP had been born and today it was confirmed that there will be a new game in the series.

A few days ago, thanks to a financial report from Digital Bros., the company that owns 505 Games (distributor of Bloodstained ), we learned that Koji Igarashi and the ArtPlay team would be working on “a second version” of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night .

Of course, this caused uncertainty, especially since the creators of the series had not mentioned anything about it, but today it was confirmed that the document referred to a completely new installment of the franchise.

The confirmation comes from the official account of the series on Twitter. The details are not abundant, but it was revealed that the project is a reality. The bad news is that it is just in a very early stage of planning, so it seems the wait to play it will be years.

The planning of the new game does not mean that ArtPlay will stop working on the pending content for the original title. The developer not only assured that she has a lot of content planned yet, but also clarified that “current development resources are focused on completing the upcoming content of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night .”

Are you waiting for the supplemental content for the original delivery? How do you receive the announcement of the new iteration? Tell us in the comments.
