Castlevania Rondo Of Blood arrives on PC Engine for the first time in 30 years, in the USA

E3 2021 showed us multiple (mostly) high-level games, both for PS4 / Xbox One and for PS5 / Xbox Series X | S. Some gamers, however, have not yet put aside old consoles from the past, such as the PC Engine. If you’re one of them, you’ll be happy to hear that Limited Run Games will release the PC Engine version of Castlevania Rondo of Blood in the US for the first time this year. There is currently no release date, but we know it will “come soon”.

Castlevania Rondo of Blood was in fact released in Japan for PC Engine in 1993: this version, however, never arrived in the West. Collectors then have a way to get a Western version of the game for the original console. However, this chapter has arrived in the West in other more modern versions, such as the PSP (Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles), Wii’s Virtual Console and the Requiem collection for PS4 .
