Death Stranding Director’s Cut for PS5 announced at Summer Game Fest 2021

Death Stranding Director’s Cut for PS5 was officially announced at the Summer Game Fest 2021 by Hideo Kojima himself, who unexpectedly presented the trailer for the next-gen edition of the game.

An old rumor is therefore confirmed that spoke precisely of Death Stranding on PS5 with an improved and enriched edition , which we imagine will run at 4K (dynamic or not) and 60 frames per second, thus exploiting the hardware of the new Sony console.

The video is very particular, let’s put it this way: there is Sam “Porter” Bridges trying to figure out how to evade the surveillance of a group of guards in a scenario perfectly in line with the settings of Metal Gear Solid .

Eventually the character played by Norman Reedus finds a possible solution: a large cardboard box in which he could hide. The idea did not last long, however: in the end Sam gave up and put everything back in place.

Death Stranding Director’s Cut does not yet have an official release date on PlayStation 5 , but it should arrive “soon”, so we are probably talking about a few weeks of waiting.
