Dying Light 2 will not debut in 2021! Techland is postponing the premiere

Dying Light 2 is another game that will not be released until the end of 2021. Techland has just confirmed the fatal news and presented a new release date.

Techland does not intend to make mistakes of other teams that tried so hard to keep their promises and as a result failed to deliver to the market the production of the expected quality. The inhabitants of Wrocław officially postponed the premiere of the anticipated adventure.

Dying Light 2 was supposed to debut in December 2021, but we just got to know the new release date. The title will be available on all platforms on February 4, 2022.

Techland emphasizes that it is always trying to play open cards with its community, and while the position is complete, now is the time of demanding tests that are taking longer than originally planned:

“Our company’s goal has always been to build transparent and honest communication with our community, fans and players. Every day we try to develop in this element.

The team is constantly expanding production and the game is close to the finish. The work on the title has been completed and we are currently in playtests. This is by far the largest and most ambitious project we have ever done. Unfortunately, we realized that to bring production to the level we had dreamed of, we needed more time to fine-tune and optimize it. “

Fortunately, in this case, we have learned the release date and we can get ready for the very beginning of the year … Although it must be admitted that the first weeks of 2022 promise to be abundant:

  • 21.01 – Elden Ring
  • 1/28 – Pokémon Legends: Arceus
  • 04.02 – Dying Light 2
  • 17.02 – The King of Fighters XV
  • February 18 – Horizon Forbidden West
  • 02/22 – Destiny 2: The Witch Queen
  • Feb 22 – Sifu
  • 2/25 – Saints Row
  • 03/04 – Gran Turismo 7
