Developers from the Playground Games studio have shown new footage of their arcade racing simulator Forza Horizon 5. This time, the players were shown all the different regions of the open world, and also a little told about each of them. In the open world of FH5, there will be as many as 11 biomes. Each of them has a unique environment that affects not only the visual perception, but also the gameplay. Players will be able to ride through the desert, jungle, swamps, mountains, visit a Mexican city and climb a volcano. Regions in Forza Horizon 5 are unique, so they should bring exceptional emotions to gamers.
Forza Horizon 5 open world locations:
- Sandy desert
- “Living” desert
- Tropical coast
- Rocky coast
- Farming region
- Arid hills
The creators of Forza Horizon 5 have shared some details of 11 open world biomes. For example, in the “living” desert, players will find rocky terrain and many tall cacti, bright flowers and small animals. In the city of Guanajuato, gamers will see many beautiful buildings and narrow streets, but there are also hills and tunnels. This region not only looks different, but also sounds, as ray tracing ensures that the roar of motors is reflected from every wall of every house. There are many open spaces in the arid hills, and the main attraction is the lake, which dries up in winter and opens up new paths.
Forza Horizon 5 will retain the season change from the previous installment. Some gamers were unhappy with this, as they did not prefer to ride, for example, only in the fall. This time around, the change of seasons affects each of the 11 regions of the open world differently, so players can always find the right weather for themselves.
Forza Horizon 5 will be released on November 9 on PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S.
