Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut: A trailer introduces the wild island of Iki

PlayStation and Sucker Punch have released a new trailer for Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut , the revised, corrected and enhanced version of the action / open world set in feudal Japan. In this new video the island of Iki is shown , the new location to be explored, which in this video shows all its splendor.

Patrick Downs , Senior Writer, of Sucker Punch Productions talks in a recent PlayStation blog post from the past 12 months and the journey the studio took to hit stores on August 20 with this enhanced version of their game.

The new expansion is set within the island of Iki, an unprecedented place with new places to discover, characters to meet, stories to complete and much more. Jin’s journey begins after discovering that a mysterious Mongolian tribe, which we repeat, is trying to invade Tsushima, has taken over Iki. The Mongolian forces are led by the revered shaman Ankhsar Khatun , known to her followers as “the Eagle”. As a khatun and shaman, the Eagle is not only a conqueror, but a true shepherd of souls. The danger it represents for Jin and his people is something new and different from anything he has already faced.

This new battle will unearth Jin’s old traumas that the warrior thought buried in his past.

The recreated one, exactly like Tsushima, will be a partially fictional version of the island of Iki, an island very different from that of the original game. It is a wild and lawless land inhabited by raiders and criminals, the samurai have no power on this island. As skilled as he is, however, Jin did not, however, face the Mongols alone. He will have to collaborate with a series of characters of dubious morality to defeat the Eagle. By losing Iki, Tsushima and the rest of Japan will be in grave danger.
