Ghost of Tsushima, “Only on PlayStation” logo removed: PC version coming soon

With the start of the Amazon Prime Day offers, Ghost of Tsushima , the acclaimed open world of Sucker Punch set in feudal Japan, has been revived at a discounted price on the North American pages of the well-known online retailer.

As reported by some users on reddit, however, the game’s box art has been updated by Sony and has an anomaly from the past. As you can see by clicking on this link , Ghost of Tsushima no longer has the ” Only on PlayStation ” stamp on the front of the case (at least on Amazon USA), emblem of those exclusive productions for Sony platforms.

This inevitably triggered speculations among users. Could this be the sign of Sony’s desire to bring the Sucker Punch action-adventure to PC ? Moreover, the Japanese company has clearly specified that it wants to aim more at a greater diffusion of its products on multiple gaming platforms, including PC and mobile devices.

However, it must be considered that other titles currently available only on PlayStation do not have the aforementioned stamp. Let’s think, for example, of Returnal by Housemarque, or even Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart, which is also made by Insomniac Games, a first party software house from Sony. We would therefore like to underline that this change does not necessarily imply the arrival of Ghost of Tsushima on PC , also in light of the fact that the logo has not currently been removed in all regions.
