The long-awaited video game based on the Harry Potter literary saga, Hogwarts Legacy , could allow the use of dark magic to curse or murder other players. This was announced by DC Allen, one of the Hogwarts Legacy scriptwriters, on Twitter when a fan asked him if there will be an option that allows killing other players. Although the tweet has been deleted, Allen confirmed that in the trailer you could already see traces that evil exists in the magical world.
DC Allen, in another of his tweets about Hogwarts Legacy, explained that he is receiving many questions about the video game, but that he is not allowed to give that kind of information. He also mentioned that in a game categorized for adults (+16), kills shouldn’t be forbidden as long as the kills weren’t too gruesome. In addition, he compared the video game with Horizon Zero Dawn , a game that is also recommended for players of legal age.
I get asked a lot about hog Leg and there isn't much I'm allowed to say, but here's an article my boss wrote last year. It does a good job hinting at the kind of stories and worldbuilding we're aiming for: https://t.co/ygCzU5acZY

Hogwarts Legacy does not have much information about the content it will have yet. The release date is not known, but it is known that it will go on sale in 2022 for the platforms of PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S and PC.
Fans of the Harry Potter saga are very excited about this open-world RPG set in 19th century Hogwarts, which promises a new story, better graphics, character customization, and, as DC Allen has said, dark magic.
