KOTOR Remake combat system, RTWP (Real Time With Pause) like the original or full blown action game?

Fans of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Remake are undecided between wanting a turn-based or real-time combat system.

Many fans of KOTOR Remake are expressing a strange desire to have a real-time, non- turn – based combat system like the original game. To point out the oddity was the journalist Jeff Grubb, who cannot understand how it is possible to want the remake of a game to distort the original.

Grubb: ” Losing my mind that people think KOTORR shouldn’t have turn-based gameplay.

I’m just saying it’s weird to me too be like, “I’m excited for a Remake of this game as long as it isn’t that game!” It’s not the end of the world. I’ll be fine if they do change it. It’ll probably be great.

A poll on the subject was also launched on the Resetera forum , which sees a certain balance between the two factions, a sign that many would really like a Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Remake different from what the original was. In fact, much of KOTOR’s appeal was in its combat system. If it gets real-time … let’s hope it’s a good real-time system.
