Capcom has announced that Monster Hunter World has reached twenty million copies distributed on all consoles and on PC, a figure that includes physical units, digital downloads of the base game and Monster Hunter World Iceborne Master Edition.
Initially released in January 2018 on PS4 and Xbox One, the game later also arrived on PC while the following year the Iceborne expansion was released . It is in fact the best-selling Capcom game ever with 20 million units distributed worldwide.
The publisher then announces that Monster Hunter Rise has reached and exceeded 7.5 million copies sold as of September 24, 2021, the game will also arrive on PC in 2022 and the Sunbreak expansion will be released next year .
