Battlefield, the FPS saga from Electronic Arts, will have a new installment that will arrive this year. If you’re biting your fingernails to find out more than it will offer, you’ll be glad to hear that it will be revealed soon.
In a call with investors, Electronic Arts shared details about its future plans. One of them is to release a new Battlefield installment by the end of 2021. The company’s intention is to formally announce this game sometime in the spring.
This means that we are months away from revealing the new Battlefield installment. It is worth mentioning that the 2 past installments of Battlefield – Battlefield 1 and Battlefield V – were announced in May. We wouldn’t be surprised if the same happened with the new Battlefield.
IT PROMISES TO BE AN AMBITIOUS BATTLEFIELD
At the presentation, Electronic Arts also shared information that seems to indicate that the new Battlefield will be a very ambitious project.

What happens is that Electronic Arts assured that this installment will feature massive battles and a new level of immersion in their battles. It also promises to take all the destruction and combat for which Battlefield is known “to the next level” thanks to the possibilities offered by the new consoles.
One point that stands out is that Electronic Arts ensures that the development of the new Battlefield goes further than planned. Somewhat surprising, considering the complications that the industry has faced due to the coronavirus (COVID-19).
“The team is focused and the game is more advanced than our internal goals expected,” EA said.
