New clue indicates a Crysis 3 remaster is also in development

Last week, Crytek hinted to be working on a remaster of Crysis 2, the acclaimed sci-fi shooter. Now, the German developer released a new clue about what appears to be her next project, but this time she made reference to the third installment of the franchise.

Specifically, the Crysis account on Twitter published an image of Crysis 3 accompanied by the emoji of the eyes. A short time later, he responded to the comments with a forceful and cold “3”.

That post was enough to excite fans of the series, who have been wanting to see a new installment for years. Let’s remember that Crysis 3 debuted in 2013 and, although it still looks great, a visual update in a remaster would not be bad.

CRYTEK COULD BE WORKING ON A REMASTERED CRYSIS COLLECTION

Now, what is Crytek working on? Of course, it’s hard to tell right now, but all the clues seem to indicate that the developer’s next project is a remastered Crysis collection.

Although there is no official announcement yet, a leak last year revealed documents indicating that the developer was working on the Crysis 2 and Crysis 3 remaster. With this in mind, all the pieces start to fit together.

Of course, and in case these remasters are real, we do not know if they will debut in a single package or if they will reach stores individually. Either way, we should take this information with a grain of salt and wait for Crytek to make an official announcement.

But tell us, would you like to see a remastered collection of Crysis ? What is your favorite installment of the series? Let us read you in the comments.
