Quake Remaster for PS5: 120Hz, 4K and DualSense support

A remaster version of Quake , the Bethesda classic, was released yesterday . The shooter is available on PC and consoles. Now, the PS Blog explains what the advantages will be in playing the game on PS5 , Sony’s next generation console. There is talk of 4K, 120Hz and exclusive support for DualSense .

Specifically, the PS Blog states: “PlayStation 5 owners will also be able to experience additional features that take advantage of the console’s next-generation technology. In addition to future support for native 4K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate – an exciting prospect for any fast-paced shooter fan – the Quake re-release will also have support for the DualSense wireless controller, giving players haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, aiming with motion (via gyroscope) and game audio through the peripheral speakers. “

“The DualSense controller is a fantastic controller and I’m always interested in seeing what other games do with it,” says Mike Rubits, senior programmer at id Software. “I’m a big believer in gyro aiming in shooters and the motion controls of the DualSense controller are top notch.”

We remind you that Quake is also available on PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, PC and Nintendo Switch. Quake, Quake 2 and Quake 3: Arena have been added to the Xbox Game Pass .
