STALKER 2 – price, Polish location, requirements, Season Pass, 4K screens, storyline. Plenty of details about the game

Ukrainian developers presented the world with the first official gameplay, as well as the release date of the upcoming post-apocalyptic production.

In addition, GSC Game World decided to launch the official website of the production, from which we can read many interesting details. First and foremost, STALKER 2 will receive a Polish localization, so Polish players will be able to enjoy the game in their native language. The voices will be available in English, Ukrainian and Russian.

The second issue is the hardware requirements that clearly show us that we are dealing with the next-gen. If you have weaker computers (or small drives), you should upgrade your positions by Q2 2022:

Minimum hardware requirements:

  • Operating System: Windows 10
  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 1600X / Intel Core i5-7600K
  • RAM: 8 GB
  • Graphics: AMD Radeon RX 580 8GB / NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB
  • Disk space: 150 GB

Recommended hardware requirements:

  • Operating System: Windows 10
  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X / Intel Core i7-9700K
  • RAM: 16 GB
  • Graphics: AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT 8GB / NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER 8GB / NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11GB
  • Disk space: 150 GB

The issue of the editions that will be prepared on the occasion of the premiere of STALKER 2 is also interesting. The production will not benefit from the “new price standard” and will be priced at $ 60 in the normal release. It will include the game as well as exclusive pre-order content.

The situation is different in the Deluxe edition ($ 80), where there are, among others, artbook and a special side task, and even more interesting in the case of the Ultimate edition ($ 110), in which we will receive two additional stories (?) expanding the adventure of the main character and the Season Pass. So it turns out that Ukrainian developers will be preparing story extensions for us, which will be made available after the stand’s debut on store shelves.

This is the description of the plot in which we will play as Skif:

The Exclusion Zone changed dramatically after the second reactor explosion in 2006. Violent mutants, deadly anomalies, warring factions have made the Zone a very difficult place to survive. It turned out that in the center of the Zone there is a source of incredible power that poses a serious threat to its inhabitants.

Play as a lone stalker and discover a photorealistic open world in a vast radioactive zone with a variety of environments that reveal the post-apocalyptic atmosphere from different perspectives. Fight your way through the Zone to find your own destiny and determine your destiny by choosing your own path from among many possible alternatives.

Meet the members of the different factions and decide who is worthy of your friendship and who deserves the bullet. Engage in intense shootouts with different enemies using different tactics to outsmart you. Choose your preferred firearm from over 30 weapons with numerous modifications that allow you to create hundreds of distinctive lethal combinations.

Get ready to meet terrifying mutant creatures that will try to kill you according to their unique behavioral pattern. Each mutant can exist in several subtypes, which makes its behavior even less predictable. Lair regions full of numerous mutants hunting in large groups offer an even greater challenge.

The most valuable artifacts and secrets of the Zone are hidden in the most dangerous places. Watch out for dangerous anomalies and unique, devastating archaic anomalies as you hunt for very valuable artifacts scattered throughout the Zone. Do you dare to discover the secrets that took the lives of so many others before you?

At the very end, of course, I left the icing on the cake, i.e. screenshots in 4K resolution. Take a look at them:
