They claim that STALKER 2 is not in development for PlayStation 5

STALKER 2 is one of the most anticipated games by the gaming community. This is why many wonder if it will come to PlayStation 5 at some point. Although the answer is not yet clear, there is information that is discouraging.

As Comicbook recounts, a fan recently asked a GSC Game World developer if there is a PlayStation 5 version of STALKER 2 on the way. Remember that the game is only confirmed for PC and Xbox Series X, but it is not yet clear if it is an exclusive or it is only a temporary exclusivity.

Faced with this question, the study member pointed out that they are only working on STALKER 2 for Xbox Series X and PC. This means that you must have a computer or be in the next generation Xbox ecosystem to have the opportunity to play it.

In other words, if you have a PlayStation 5 everything seems to indicate that you will have to buy other hardware to buy STALKER 2 on its opening day. We’ll see if in the future a version for Sony’s next-generation console is confirmed, but we recommend that it not be something you expect standing still.

STALKER 2 HAS NO RELEASE DATE YET

It is important to note that STALKER 2 does not have a release date yet. In other words: we do not know how long you will have to wait to be able to test it.

Note that GSC Game World hasn’t even shared a release window for this title. With the above in mind, it seems that there is still a while before we can have STALKER 2 in our hands.

And you, where will you play STALKER 2? What excites you most about this game? Tell us in the comments.

STALKER 2 is on the way for Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC.
