Halo: The Master Chief Collection recently received new content to kick off its Season 5 . 343 Industries does not plan to abandon the collection anytime soon, so it is already preparing more surprises for players.
The company reported that public proofs of the title will return later this month or early March. The goal is for players to learn about new content that will later arrive in the collection.
A list with the multiple improvements and news that is being prepared for the title was revealed. One point in particular caught the attention of the community, as 343 Industries stated that the test may include a new place and way of playing Halo: The Master Chief Collection .
343I PREPARES ALL THESE NEWS FOR HALO: MCC
The study stated that the plans for the next test and its content could change. This is because they still have a lot of work ahead of them to decide the scale that the test will have and monitor the progress they achieve in the coming weeks.
343 Industries revealed that it will allow gamers to test support for adjusting field of view on the Xbox One family of consoles. They are also working to optimize the feature on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, so that it doesn’t crash when Play at 120 fps.
Additionally, additional ways to customize controls, more key combinations, mouse and keyboard support for consoles, and more will be enabled. 343 Industries also mentions the collection “a new place and way to play” on the list, but does not clarify what it refers to.
As you can imagine, the last point has generated intrigue in the community and several theories. Some players believe that the collection will have a release on the Epic Games Store for PC. Another part of the community thinks that 343i refers to a browser function for custom games.
Some fans even believe that the collection will reach other systems. There are those who, for whatever reason, are hopeful to see the game on Switch, while others take it with humor and say that it will arrive on the KFC console .
