AMD unveils the Radeon RX 6600 XT, a 1080p graphics card that’s faster than the RTX 3060

AMD has announced the Radeon RX 6600 XT graphics card based on the Navi 23 GPU. Now it is the youngest model in the RX 6000 lineup. The device is intended primarily for gaming at 1080p.

It is understood that the video card will compete with the RTX 3060 (12 GB). According to AMD, the RX 6600 XT outperforms NVIDIA’s solution in modern games by about 15%. Compared to the predecessors RX 5600 XT and RX 5700, performance has increased 1.4-1.7 times.

The Navi 23 XT GPU is made up of 11.06 billion transistors. He received 32 computing units with 2048 stream processors that operate at frequencies up to 2589 MHz.

The RX 6600 XT comes with 8GB GDDR6 VRAM and 32MB Infinity Cache. It uses one pin connector for power, and the declared power consumption is 160 watts.

The video card will go on sale on August 11, 2021 at a recommended price of $ 379 (about 27.8 thousand rubles) and only in the performance of third-party vendors.
