WitcherCon announced by Netflix and CD Projekt Red

In closing Geekend was announced WitcherCon , an event dedicated to the franchise The Witcher 360 °, born of a collaboration between Netflix , which we owe the TV series starring Henry Cavill (Geralt of Rivia), and CD Projekt Red, software houses author of the most famous electronic role-playing trilogy of recent years, as well as several spin-offs.

The Witchercon will take place on July 9, 2021, so in just under a month. The official program , still very partial, talks about in-depth information on the creation of video games, the series, the animated film (forthcoming), and gadgets. There will also be behind-the-scenes footage to accompany the whole thing.

In addition to the themes, there will also be people. More precisely, space will be given to those who gave life to The Witcher videogame and television, with news and announcements related to both. There will also be moments dedicated to the culture of the continent in which the franchise is set.

Netflix and CD Projekt Red, however, are keen to specify that no new The Witcher games will be announced , so let’s not expect any surprises. The complete program will be unveiled soon (follow the official website to stay updated).
